By arrangement with Gillingham & Distric AA full members can fish the two lakes at Mappowder from 1st June 2012. With easy parking next to the first lake and a good head of fish including carp, bream, roach and big perch, members are encouraged to fish this quiet and attractive venue.
From Sturminster go via Hazelbury Bryan and turn right after the chapel in Wonston. Go on towards Mappowder and keep left at every junction, after the last turn left at the outskirts of Mappowder hamlet the gate to the venue is a few hundred yards along on the right.
