Bath Road/Colber Bridge
Bath Road/Colber Bridge (Yellow Arrow)(& up to Twin Wood)
There is a lane opposite the Council Offices in Bath Road, Sturminster (just south of the school). Road way parking only. Again left bank only down to Colber Bridge, then both banks up and down stream. There is an easier route to Colber Bridge via Ricketts Lane (Angled Red Arrow) (leads to the playing fields) with limited parking, then metalled path west to a gate leading to the River upstream. Also Durrant, left bank downstream.
Alternatively use the Row (orange arrow) (opposite Station Road) although it is relatively steep down to the river.
Stalbridge Lane (Black Arrow) is situated off the A357 in Newton being about 100 yards past the mill on the same side. This gives access to the right hand bank above Sturminster Mill and there are footpaths across to Colber Bridge.
