Bere Marsh (From 1st August)
Take the A357 to Shillingstone and before reaching the
village turn left to Child Okeford limited parking is available by the old railway bridge.
Fishing is from the road bridge (Haywards) up stream on the right bank to
the wood above the foot bridge over the river and from the footbridge down
to the wood on the left bank. Please note that the footbridge over the
old mill outfall just above Haywards Bridge is now closed due to misuse by
unauthorised walkers. Either park by the old railway bridge or a maximum of 3 cars can be parked at Bere Marsh Farm courtesy of
Mrs F Geredin near the wheelie bin adjacent the gable end of the farm property.

Take
the footpath via the stile on the opposite side of the lane, pass over the
footbridge and then turn half right to the gate as shown left.
This is fitted with a lock - Members should contact a
member of the committee for the combination. The gate MUST be kept locked.
