Hammoon

(From 1st August)

Hammoon can be reached by passing through Fiddleford and taking the left turn at the cross roads signposted Hammoon or via the B3091 to Manston, turning right and another right turn shortly after.

From 2009/10 fishing between the Red Arrows at Framptons is available as the house is not sold.. Otherwise fishing is between the two green arrows on the southern bank up to the previous limit with Association waters at Paradise. The access to Frampton's has also been altered and this is now via a new road as identified by the Blue Arrow at the southern end of the hamlet - see also the photograph above. The access is gated but unlocked. Parking  is indicated by the Gold Arrow on the grass by the right hand side of the road opposite the new house. (Please do not park in the Farm Yard)

Members may also fish in the field (Green Arrow) immediately above the road bridge to include the old water course as opened up by the Environment Agency as part of the habitat enhancement scheme carried out in the Autumn of 2006.  Below the road bridge members may fish the right hand bank down to the wood.
