Lake Fisheries

Lodden Lakes, Gillingham

S&HAA and Gillingham AC are in partnership. There are additional permit charges to the annual season ticket, revised charges apply from 16 June 2006;

Adult Season        £10.00                    Junior Season            £6.00    add £20 for night fishing both Adult and Junior

Permits must be purchased before fishing and are available from Todber Manor shop or S&HAA Secretary Richard Brrown, Telephone 01258 473178.

Directions

From the cross roads at East Stour take the B3092 Gillingham Road. Go past the sign to Madjeston, over the stream and the fishery will be found on the right hand side just after a sharp left hand bend. Rules are in accordance with the Member's Handbook.

Stoke Wake Lakes

The S&HAA season permit includes this 20 peg fishery, both lakes contain Roach and Perch, the larger lake with Green Tench , the smaller with Golden Tench and Crucian Carp.

Directions

From Sturminster turn right at the town bridge on the A357 and in Newton take a left turn signposted Hazelbury Bryan. Carry on through Hazelbury until you see a right turn to Stoke Wake, take this. Eventually there is a fork in the road, take the left side, carry on towards Bulbarrow (the road rising) and shortly you will see some cottages (Manor Fm Cotts) on the left. The car park is a little further along on the left hand side (if you reach the Old Rectory you have gone too far) and the lakes are to the north east of this.
