We have been in touch with the Environment Agency following the recent discovery of a set line at Steart (pictured below).

If members come across any unlawful fishing item, the advice is not to remove it as it may hinder the identification of those responsible.  On such a find, you should immediately inform the EA on 0800 80 70 60, (their action line no. which is also on your Rod Licence).

Try to get as accurate as possible location and photographs would be helpful.
