Riverfest July 20/21 2024: The prestigious Riverfest will be held on the River Stour for the first time and our Club are pleased to host it.
The event will take place at Upper Colber, Colber Farm and Sowley over the weekend 20/21 July 2024 with the competition on the Sunday but fishing on these stretches will not be permitted on Saturday 20th.
The event is limited to 60 anglers and will be in four Sections, the winner of each going forward to the next stage of the competition.
Entrants must be fully paid up members of the Angling Trust, who are co-sponsors.
There will be a Two Day Pairs Competition over the previous weekend (13 & 14 July). It will be limited to 30 pairs and details will appear nearer the time in the website fixture list.
It will be much appreciated if Members can avoid fishing these lengths in the week between the events in order to rest the water
