• Update – Fiddleford Mill. We are very pleased to say the Environment Agency tests showed no evidence of Blue/Green Algae being present in the pool.
• A good turnout for the work party at Mappowder Lakes on Saturday. Although we are concerned about the low water levels, it has given us better access to remove fallen branches and other snags as well as being able to trim back growth around the lakes.
• IMPORTANT NOTICE – Due to the extremely low water levels, Mappowder Lakes are now closed until further notice.
• The recent Riverfest & Pairs Matches raised £500 for the club via entry fees. These proceeds go towards maintaining the SH&AA waters to a high standard, for the benefit of all club members.
• Fishing Tackle wanted. Mike Cullen sells old & unwanted fishing tackle to support the Air Ambulance Service. If you have any tackle in usable condition, then please contact Bill Hanson.
