Remedial work at Colber Bridge: Due to a build-up of floating debris on the upstream side of the bridge the river will have to be lowered at Sturminster Mill in order to facilitate the works. Work commences 10th September.
Please be aware of the possibility of bank collapse downstream of the bridge, although the river will only be lowered by 50 mm/20ins or so. A further update should be available later in the week once work has commenced. It is anticipated …
